"And I will make you a great nation. I will bring good to you. I will make your name great, so you will be honored. I will bring good to those who are good to you. And I will curse those who curse you. Good will come to all the families of the earth because of you.

By now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with a plague, and you would have been obliterated from the earth. However, I have let you live for this purpose: to show you my power and to make my name known on the whole earth.

May the Lord bless you and protect you; may the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace.

God is not a man, that he might lie, or a son of man, that he might change his mind. Does he speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?

Haven't I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

But as for you, be strong; don't give up, for you work has a reward.

The Lord said, "You do not have to fight this battle. Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. He is with you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged."

For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

The Lord is a refuge for the persecuted, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you because you have not abandoned those who seek you, Lord.

Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff - they comfort me.

I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with  my eye on you, I will give counsel.

He will cover you with his feathers; you will take refuge under his winds. his faithfulness will be a protective shield

Because he has his heart set on me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he knows my name. When he calls out to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will reduce him and give him honor. I will satisfy him with a long life and show him my salvation.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.

A false witness will not go unpunished, and one who utters lies will not escape.

The grass withers , the flowers fade, but the Word of our God remains forever.

...but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you, I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand."

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. 

Now this is what the Lord says - "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are mine. I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and the flame will not burn you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, and your Savior.

The Lord will always lead you, satisfy you in parched land, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose water never runs dry.

"Look I am the Lord, the God over everything creature. Is anything too difficult for me?"

Because of the Lord's faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!

The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the person who seeks him.

The Lord your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will be quiet in his love. He will delight in you with singing.

You are blessed when they insult you and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of me. Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven.

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

"...And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Looking at them, Jesus said, "With man it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God."

My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.

If anyone serves me, he must follow me. Where I am, there my servant also will be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

If you love me, you will keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another counselor to be with you forever. He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive him because it doesn't see him or know him. But you do know him, because he remains with you and will be in you.

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, heirs according to the promise.

Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us - to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.

And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you demonstrated for his name by serving the saints - and by continuing to serve them.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God - who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly - and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting.

Blessed is the one who endures trials, because when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.

You are being guarded by God's power though faith for salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.

"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord of hosts.

For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.

For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Everyone must sub it himself to the governing authorities, for there 

Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.

Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. therefore I will not be afraid when the world falls apart, when the mountains crumle into the center of the sea.

The Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.

But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the rivers, they will not overflow you when you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west."

Anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself.

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another. Humble yoursleves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent.

A wise mad fears the Lord and shuns evil, but a fool is hotheaded and reckless.

A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.

A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret - it leads only to evil. For evildoers will be destroyed, but those who put their hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.

Don't worry about anything, but in everything through prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and yours minds in Christ Jesus.

For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

"I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant, I have chosen you and have not rejected you.'"

"No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me, " declares the Lord.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

If God is for us, who can be against us?

In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

For He chose us in Home before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.

Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will.

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -  think about such things.

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

Count yourself lucky, how happy you  must be - you get a fresh start, your slate's wiped clean.

He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

For He chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will - to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

If anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense - Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

I will set before my eyes no vile thing.

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.

Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good.

They looked to Him and were radiant; their faces were not ashamed.

Do not be afraid, you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated; you will forget the shame of your youth.

Instead of your shame you shall have double honor.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world though Him.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, He straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her..." Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

When he [satan] lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

For the accuser of our brothers [satan], who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.

Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.

For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Be king and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

I am the lord, who heals you.

He is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ...For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
